Simplify Foriegn Relations to "Power-Play"

We could simplify Foreign Relations to "Power-Plays" to establish a basis of discussion in a "Democratic" nation. Clearly over the last year we have ample evidence of power-plays by Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea. Within our country it seems too often we can't even start a discussion, because the left or the right seem stuck in partisanship.

I say simplify Foreign Relations discussions to "Power-Plays" and how the USA stands for status quo rather than hegemony and empire building, and that we use sanctions to correct human rights issues rather than gunboat diplomacy. Sometimes the worlds #1 power can make a difference by making a stand ...and I don't mean with bombs. I think amnesty international should be able to appreciate this.
